Wallace Bajjali Development Partners recently acquired a prime location in Missouri City, Fort Bend County, Texas, at the northeast intersection of Murphy Road (FM 1092) and Hampton Drive near Highway 6, for the purpose of mixed-use development.
The project consists of two tracts totaling approximately 21 acres and is planned to include assisted and independent living facilities, a single-family patio home subdivision, a possible memory care facility and other commercial opportunities.
Area amenities include the newly-public Quail Valley Golf Course and nearby Mosley Park which provides access to the Oyster Creek Trail System.
The property is centrally located in a mature area with several big-box developments nearby such as Lowe’s, Kohl’s and Home Depot, to name a few.

Hampton Pointe - A Seniors Master Planned Community
Hampton Pointe was designed as a transitional living, seniors master planned development. The development will provide an assisted living/memory care facility, independent living and patio homes to accommodate various needs and stages of independence for senior citizens.
The assisted living and memory care community will consist of 78 units, totaling 53,000 square feet. As planned, 23 of the 78 units will be in a dedicated, access controlled area of the building to service residents with memory care needs such as dementia and Alzheimer’s. Each unit will be ADA accessible and will include emergency pull cords, walk-in closets and resort quality finishes. Additional amenities will include a beauty shop/salon, ice cream bar/social activity area, full service 24-hour restaurant, 24-hour concierge service, full-service healthcare staff, walking trails with activity stations and a full laundry facility.
The independent living community will consist of 70 individual apartments, age restricted to seniors age 55 and over. The three-story building will total approximately 75,000 square feet and will include access to three elevators and multiple stairways. There will be four unit sizes, each including an in-suite kitchen, washer and dryer, balcony and storage closets. In addition to the resident apartments the building will include staff and administrative offices with storage rooms, mail center, parlor/social center, coffee bar, general store, warming kitchen/teaching kitchen, dining/meeting room, private dining room, ice cream bar with open area for social gatherings, fitness center, chapel/theater room, activity rooms for games and workshops, library, beauty shop, business center, guest suite for visitors and additional storage units for rent. Additional exterior amenities include a network of walking trails with access to municipal trails along Oyster Creek, covered portico share at the front entrance for easy pick-up/drop-off, keypad access doors on ground level near the parking area for convenient access and covered parking for residential convenience. The patio home community will consist of approximately 45 single family homes varying in size from 1,700 to 2,300 square feet. The homes are planned to be built to an “active adult” standard, including wheel chair accessible door widths, lower electrical outlets and switches, emergency pull cords, walk-in closets and high-end quality finishes. The patio home community will enjoy the ability to participate in all additional optional care and maintenance services available to the assisted and independent living communities.
The Hampton Pointe community will offer residents a continuum of care, allowing them to remain in the same community while transitioning through the various stages and changing needs associated with aging.
Construction on our assisted living facility will begin in spring 2010 and the independent living community will break ground before the end of the year. Additionally, we are in discussion with several builders to begin the patio homes project.
